Before the price: what we don’t collect.
Most apps are free because you pay in a different currency — your data, your behaviour, your words. Let’s Unload charges money so that it never has to charge you anything else. Nothing you write is stored on our servers, shared with anyone, or used to train anything. An AI reads your words, sorts them, and forgets them. Your vault lives on your device and nowhere else.
What you pay is the whole arrangement. There is nothing else.
Before we hit the App Store
These are the web prices. The lowest this app will ever be.
When Let’s Unload comes to the App Store and Google Play, Apple and Google take a percentage of every transaction and the price goes up to cover it. What you pay here is what you keep. Forever, in the case of the founding lifetime membership.
There is no pressure here. But if you have been considering it, the web is the right time.

The three, explained
$5.99 a month
The low door in. Stay a month, stay three years, leave whenever you like. There is no notice period and no exit interview, and canceling takes the same number of taps it took to start.
$59 once, for twelve months
The one most people should take. Twelve months is long enough to find out whether this becomes part of how you set things down, and it costs less than ten months of the monthly price.
It is also the one to buy for somebody else. If you know a person carrying a lot right now, this is a year of room to put it down, handed over without a word about what you paid.

For the people who arrive early enough to make the thing possible at all. One payment, and the door stays open. No renewal, no second invoice, and every feature we build after today comes with it.
This is a founding price, and it will not be here forever. When the founding release closes, it closes.

Giving one
No wrapping, no delivery date to get wrong, and nothing that announces a price to the person receiving it. The simplest version of this takes about a minute.
Checkout is the same as any other. Your receipt arrives by email a moment later, and it carries the license key inside it. The key is not tied to you, so handing it on costs you nothing and takes nothing away from your own use of the app.
The easiest way, honestly. The receipt already contains everything they need: the key, a gentle explanation of what the gift is, and a link to open the app. You add a line in your own words at the top and send it on.
The twelve months begin on the day they first use the key, not the day you bought it. Buy it in November for a January birthday and they lose nothing.
You will not see what they write, when they open it, or whether they open it at all. There is nothing for us to report back to you, which is rather the point of the thing.
The page they land on never mentions what it cost. Neither does the app, the key, or anything we send them. A gift that quietly states its own price is not really a gift, and we would rather be the sort of company that understands that.
The letter we give you says nothing about anyone struggling, coping, or needing help. It says someone thought you might like a quiet place to put things down. That is all a gift like this should ever say.
A note to add at the top of the forwarded email, if you like
Copy this, paste it at the top of the receipt email, replace the two names, and forward the whole thing. That is the entire gifting process. Notice what is not in the note, and please keep it that way: no price, and nothing about them needing it.
If you would rather send a single link so their key is already waiting for them when they tap it, you can. Take your key from the receipt, and paste it into this link where it says YOUR-KEY:

Send that link however you normally message them. When they tap it, their key is already filled in on the page. This is a little more work than forwarding the email, but the arrival feels magical for the person on the other end.
One thing worth knowing before you buy for someone: the key opens on up to three personal devices, so they can have it on a phone and a laptop without trouble. And if they lose the key, it is in the email you forwarded them, so you can always send it again.
Your devices
However you came in, Let's Unload opens on up to three personal devices at once. A phone, a laptop, the tablet by the bed. That covers almost everyone honestly, without turning this into something you have to police.
The first time you enter your key on a device, that device takes one of your three slots and remembers it. You will not be asked again on that device. Nothing about what you write is involved. A slot is a yes or no about access, and nothing else.
New phone, wiped laptop, a tablet you gave away? Open your customer portal, find the device, and release it. The slot comes straight back and the new device can take it.
The honest footnote, because we would rather say it than have you find it. Everything lives on your own device and nothing lives with us, so fully wiping a device can leave its slot still claimed. Releasing it in the portal takes about ten seconds, and it is the fastest way back in.
Your key
Your license key arrives in your receipt the moment you buy, and that receipt stays in your inbox. So the first place to look is a search for Let's Unload or I Love Yu LLC. If that turns up nothing, none of it is gone.
Every receipt carries a link to your own portal. It holds your key, your devices, and your subscription. You can retrieve, release, and cancel from there at any hour, without asking anyone.
Write to hello@letsunload.com from the address you bought with, and we will send your key and a fresh portal link back within one business day. Usually much sooner.
We will never make getting back in harder than getting in was. That is a promise we can keep because there is no upside for us in a locked door.
When a gifted year ends
If someone gave you a year, that year has an end, and you should never meet it as a surprise wall. Here is exactly what happens, so there is nothing to brace for.
Once, gently, inside the app: someone gave you a year here, and it is nearly up. No countdown in the corner. No red. No daily reminder wearing you down. One quiet note, and then it lets you get on with it.
Nothing you built disappears. Your record of what you let go, everything you came through, all of it stays on your device exactly as it was. What pauses is the sorting of new unloads.
Continue for $5.99 a month, take another year, or become a founder if that door is still open. Or do nothing at all. What you unload stays down either way.
A gift never turns itself into a bill. We will not quietly convert a gifted year into a paying subscription. If you continue, it is because you chose to, on purpose, with your own hands.
The word "lifetime"
Not a promise about the years ahead of you, but a promise about this product. As long as Let's Unload is running, your access never expires and you never pay us again. That is the deal, and we intend to keep it for a very long time.
And the honest other half. We are a small company, and small companies are not immortal. If we ever had to close the doors, we would tell you well ahead of time and make sure you could take what is yours with you. We are not planning for that. We are simply refusing to use a word carelessly, because plenty of others have and people got hurt.
The full version lives in our terms, in the same plain language as this. No trapdoors, and no clause that means the opposite of what the page said.
Why we bothered to write this out: "lifetime" is the easiest word in software to use badly. Saying what it actually covers, before you pay rather than after, is the whole difference between a promise and a pitch.
Before you decide
Yes. Your first full unload is free and needs no signup, no card, no email. If it does nothing for you, close the tab. We will never chase you.
Access continues to the end of the period you already paid for, then stops. Everything on your device stays on your device. Nothing is deleted as a punishment.
No. It is one payment for twelve months and it ends by itself. We tell you before it does, and continuing is an active choice you make, never a charge that arrives on its own.
Because a year paid up front costs us less to carry, and because we would rather you decided once and got on with your life than thought about us twelve times.
No. It is a founding release, offered while we are getting started, and it will close. We will not run it, close it, and quietly run it again.
Three covers a phone, a laptop, and one more, which is how nearly everyone actually lives. Unlimited would mean one key quietly serving a hundred people, and this whole thing is paid for by the people using it. There is no advertiser making up the difference.
